Description

Eighteenth-century building, under renovation, located in the Historic Centre of Piacenza, 100 meters from Piazza Cavalli who is the center of the city. This is an old historical building of considerable size, whose main facade is 56 meters long. and whose plant is rather complex: it has two entrances driveways, stairways of four, of five yards and a roof garden. The fa?ade, restored in neoclassical style in 800, is characterized by a high base and the projecting lintels above windows. The plan is complex and characterized by three main courtyards separated by narrow buildings, the ground floor supported by two pairs of arches resting on columns of pink granite from Baveno and consisting of three arches with vaulted ceilings. A porch is open on two sides and joins the two main courtyards, the other defines the scale of which is access. The main staircase has a single ramp, the treads are made of stone and covered with barrel vaults and vaults, is characterized by the refined wrought iron railing balcony equal to the angle and place in the main courtyard of the lattice openings illuminate the stairwell. The scale, despite the small size, is particularly elegant.
