In a stretch of flat land, south of Bobbio, (near Milan) on the left bank of the river Trebbia, is S. Renati Martino, an ancient monastery of 600 square meters, entirely in stone, dating from the year 862, In a park with old trees , and the ground for about 15,000 square meters. The building is on two floors, with plant at "L". The facades are plastered and painted in yellow, with some cantonal brick, but under the plaster structure is entirely made of authentic stone, (and it should be restored as it was in the original splendor) .
